When I met Christy, I knew we’d be friends. She was spunky, crazy, beautiful, and so encouraging. When I moved to Berry, that friendship soon began to blossom. Throughout the term, we’d encourage each other, cry with one another, laugh, smile, be frustrated, and ultimately hold each other up. I had the great honor to watch Christy walk across the stage and receive her college degree last week. I’ll be honest, I cried when she passed me holding her cover. I knew she had worked hard for that degree and I knew that I had helped her push on when she didn’t feel like she could. This summer, we get to grow our friendship without the distraction of school. I’m excited about where God is taking us, what he is showing us, and what we are learning as his daughters. I’m thankful for my sister and friend.
