Home Behind the Sun {Book Review}

Hope for the journey- that is what Timothy Willard and Jason Locy work to bring us in Home Behind the Sun. With beautiful and eloquently crafted words do we find ourselves at the cusp of each chapter yearning for more, being equipped with the words to inspire and encourage through the days here on earth, reminding of us of our Home Behind the Sun.

“We need the wild-eyed wonder of a child to see the beauty. We need the innocence. When we open our eyes again, when we return to a state of discovery like a child, we see that God’s brilliance cannot be overcome. No matter how dark our world, no matter how many shadows cast their despair on us, beauty remains.”

Willard and Locy work to help readers see the beauty around us, keeping us encouraged through the dark knowing what exists on the other side is far greater than anything that exists here.

I really enjoyed this book and believe it’s something I’ll pull out more than once in the years to come as a reminder to not forget the beauty of the things adults over look.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookLookBloggers.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review.
